Our partner Signal Microwave will be introducing new solder-less RF connectors from 40 to 67GHz.  The 40GHz/2.92mm interface connectors are available in both vertical and edge mount geometries with the 67 GHz/1.85mm interface connectors supporting PCB edge mount applications. These solder-less edge mount connectors provide superior signal integrity performance. New Connectors will include 1.85 70GHz through adapters and new low cost 2.92 Field Replacable Connectors.

Engineers will be available to discuss how to optimize the coaxial-to-PCB performance transitions by providing free 3D connector to PCB electrical launch models, customer specific PCB footprints to assure measurement repeatability and electrical transparency. NEW DVT40-1MM 40 GHz TDR/VNA S-parameter Probe kit

 DVT40 GigaProbes 40 GHz TDR/ VNA S-parameter probe is a 40 GHz multi-impedance mode hand probe functions as a 50 or 100 ohm odd mode differential probe with ~3.5ps TDR rise time loss. To probe with a VNA, the differential 40GHz 2.92mm K connectors with dual conductor strip line incorporates a configurable ground collar. The two signal pins are 50 ohms referenced to a user configurable ground pin that form up to ten different ground/signal patterns. Measured S-parameters are provided in S2p or S4p file format to de embed the probe from the measurement. Design Verification Engineers use the DVT40 probe to verify differential impedance or S-parameter frequency performance of PCB designs using Time Domain or Vector Network Analyzer instruments from Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, LeCroy, Agilent and a Tektronix.

The DVT30-1MM GigaProbes® contains two 30Ghz balanced odd mode 100 ohm differential Time-Domain Reflectometry (TDR) probes featuring Gold Plated Conductive Diamond probe tips. Accessories are included to convert the probes to 50 ohm single-ended. DVT30-1MM comes with a set of ergonometric grips for comfortable hand probing and accessories are included to attach the probes to the Probe Articulating Arms and Probe Stations. This 30GHz TDR probe measures ODD mode impedance profiles and can be used with the LeCroy, Tektronix, Agilent,  Hyper Labs or any legacy TDR oscilloscopes. With a typical differential launch discontinuity of 20mv and a fall-time of less than 30ps, these probes mask only 20 mils of the device under test. This small discontinuity mask becomes significant when characterizing IC packages where net lengths are very short. The Signal-to-Signal pitch can be set to 0.4 to 1.8 mm using the special SMA Pitch Setting Wrench or customized using other tools supplied in the DVT30-1MM GigaProbes® accessory kit


TDR and Test Equipment Compatibility
The DVT30 Gigaprobes™ are compatible with  all 20Ghz Agilent, Tektronix, and LeCroy TDR Systems, TDR modules and as a Probe for injecting and measuring digital patterns for the SyntheSys Research BERTScope.



Two GigaProbes Interconnect Kits are Now Available!



GigaProbes® Now come in a one probe and two probe configuration. The DVT30-1MM has two 50/100 ohm probes to address the need for full PCB analysis where TDR/TDT measurements and insertion/return loss S-parameters are extracted to determine interconnect bandwidth performance. The NEW DVT30-1MM-1 contains one probe for 50 or 100 ohm impedance measurements or for PCB Failure Analysis testing. Each kit comes with cables and accessories for adjusting the probe pitch.
