Differential (100 Ohm) TDR Rise Time and Bandwidth Performace Testing

To measure the differential TDR performance, a 50 GHz TDR Sampling system was used to drive a Pico Second Pulse Lab 4022TDRT 9ps differential pulser which yielded a 17ps TDR system rise time when connected to the TDR Gigaprobes(tm).  The measured rise time on the output of the TDR Gigaprobes(tm) was better than 30GHz.  This probe is ideal for verifying a 10Gbit Backplane.
